श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता के अनमोल वचन
Quote 1:Neither in this world nor elsewhere is there any happiness in store for him who always doubts.In Hindi: सदैव संदेह करने वाले व्यक्ति के लिए प्रसन्नता ना इस लोक में है ना ही कहीं और .
Quote 2: Delusion arises from anger. The mind is bewildered by delusion. Reasoning is destroyed when the mind is bewildered. One falls down when reasoning is destroyed.
In Hindi: क्रोध से भ्रम पैदा होता है. भ्रम से बुद्धि व्यग्र होती है. जब बुद्धि व्यग्र होती है तब तर्क नष्ट हो जाता है. जब तर्क नष्ट होता है तब व्यक्ति का पतन हो जाता है.
Quote 3: The power of God is with you at all times; through the activities of mind, senses, breathing, and emotions; and is constantly doing all the work using you as a mere instrument.
In Hindi: मन की गतिविधियों, होश, श्वास, और भावनाओं के माध्यम से भगवान की शक्ति सदा तुम्हारे साथ है; और लगातार तुम्हे बस एक साधन की तरह प्रयोग कर के सभी कार्य कर रही है.
Quote 4: The wise sees knowledge and action as one; they see truly.
In Hindi: ज्ञानी व्यक्ति ज्ञान और कर्म को एक रूप में देखता है, वही सही मायने में देखता है.
Quote 5: The mind acts like an enemy for those who do not control it.
In Hindi: जो मन को नियंत्रित नहीं करते उनके लिए वह शत्रु के समान कार्य करता है.
Quote 6: Perform your obligatory duty, because action is indeed better than inaction.”
In Hindi: अपने अनिवार्य कार्य करो, क्योंकि वास्तव में कार्य करना निष्क्रियता से बेहतर है.
Quote 7: Sever the ignorant doubt in your heart with the sword of self-knowledge. Observe your discipline. Arise.
In Hindi: आत्म-ज्ञान की तलवार से काटकर अपने ह्रदय से अज्ञान के संदेह को अलग कर दो. अनुशाषित रहो . उठो.
Quote 8: Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.
In Hindi: मनुष्य अपने विश्वास से निर्मित होता है.जैसा वो विश्वास करता है वैसा वो बन जाता है.
Quote 9: Hell has three gates: lust, anger, and greed.
In Hindi:नर्क के तीन द्वार हैं: वासना, क्रोध और लालच.
Quote 10: There is nothing lost or wasted in this life.
In Hindi: इस जीवन में ना कुछ खोता है ना व्यर्थ होता है.
Quote 11: The mind is restless and difficult to restrain, but it is subdued by practice.
In Hindi: मन अशांत है और उसे नियंत्रित करना कठिन है, लेकिन अभ्यास से इसे वश में किया जा सकता है.
Quote 12: People will talk about your disgrace forever. To the honored, dishonor is worse than death.
In Hindi: लोग आपके अपमान के बारे में हमेशा बात करेंगे. सम्मानित व्यक्ति के लिए , अपमान मृत्यु से भी बदतर है.
Quote 13: To the illumined man or woman, a clod of dirt, a stone, and gold are the same.
In Hindi: प्रबुद्ध व्यक्ति के लिए, गंदगी का ढेर, पत्थर, और सोना सभी समान हैं.
Quote 14: Creation is only the projection into form of that which already exists.
In Hindi: निर्माण केवल पहले से मौजूद चीजों का प्रक्षेपण है.
Quote 15: One can become whatever one wants to be if one constantly contemplates on the object of desire with faith.
In Hindi: व्यक्ति जो चाहे बन सकता है यदी वह विश्वास के साथ इच्छित वस्तु पर लगातार चिंतन करे.
Quote 16: Fear not what is not real, never was and never will be. What is real, always was and cannot be destroyed.
In Hindi: उससे मत डरो जो वास्तविक नहीं है, ना कभी था ना कभी होगा.जो वास्तविक है, वो हमेशा था और उसे कभी नष्ट नहीं किया जा सकता.
Quote 17: The wise should not unsettle the mind of the ignorant who is attached to the fruits of work.
In Hindi: ज्ञानी व्यक्ति को कर्म के प्रतिफल की अपेक्षा कर रहे अज्ञानी व्यक्ति के दीमाग को अस्थिर नहीं करना चाहिए.
Quote 18: The faith of each is in accordance with one’s own nature.
In Hindi: हर व्यक्ति का विश्वास उसकी प्रकृति के अनुसार होता है.
Quote 19: Death is as sure for that which is born, as birth is for that which is dead. Therefore grieve not for what is inevitable.
In Hindi: जन्म लेने वाले के लिए मृत्यु उतनी ही निश्चित है जितना कि मृत होने वाले के लिए जन्म लेना. इसलिए जो अपरिहार्य है उस पर शोक मत करो.
Quote 20: Unnatural work produces too much stress.
In Hindi: अप्राकृतिक कर्म बहुत तनाव पैदा करता है.
Quote 21: Setting aside all noble deeds, just surrender completely to the will of God. I shall liberate you from all sins. Do not grieve.
In Hindi: सभी अच्छे काम छोड़ कर बस भगवान में पूर्ण रूप से समर्पित हो जाओ. मैं तुम्हे सभी पापों से मुक्त कर दूंगा. शोक मत करो.
Quote 22: Much better to do one’s own work even if you have to do it imperfectly than it is to do somebody elses work perfectly.
In Hindi: किसी और का काम पूर्णता से करने से कहीं अच्छा है कि अपना काम करें , भले ही उसे अपूर्णता से करना पड़े.
Quote 23: I give the knowledge, to those who are ever united with Me and lovingly adore Me.
In Hindi: मैं उन्हें ज्ञान देता हूँ जो सदा मुझसे जुड़े रहते हैं और जो मुझसे प्रेम करते हैं.
Quote 24: I look upon all creatures equally; none are less dear to me and none more dear. But those who worship me with love live in me, and I come to life in them.
In Hindi: मैं सभी प्राणियों को सामान रूप से देखता हूँ; ना कोई मुझे कम प्रिय है ना अधिक. लेकिन जो मेरी प्रेमपूर्वक आराधना करते हैं वो मेरे भीतर रहते हैं और मैं उनके जीवन में आता हूँ.
Quote 25: A Self-realized person does not depend on anybody except God for anything.
In Hindi: प्रबुद्ध व्यक्ति सिवाय ईश्वर के किसी और पर निर्भर नहीं करता.
Quote 26: One attains the eternal imperishable abode by My grace, even while doing all duties, just by taking refuge in Me.
In Hindi: मेरी कृपा से कोई सभी कर्तव्यों का निर्वाह करते हुए भी बस मेरी शरण में आकर अनंत अविनाशी निवास को प्राप्त करता है.
Quote 27: Only the fortunate warriors, O Arjuna, get such an opportunity for an unsought war that is like an open door to heaven.
In Hindi: हे अर्जुन, केवल भाग्यशाली योद्धा ही ऐसा युद्ध लड़ने का अवसर पाते हैं जो स्वर्ग के द्वार के सामान है.
Quote 28: God is in everything as well as above everything.
In Hindi: भगवान प्रत्येक वस्तु में है और सबके ऊपर भी.
Quote 29: The wise do not rejoice in sensual pleasures.
In Hindi: बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति कामुक सुख में आनंद नहीं लेता.
Quote 30: Neither do I see the beginning nor the middle nor the end of Your Universal Form.
In Hindi: आपके सार्वलौकिक रूप का मुझे न प्रारंभ न मध्य न अंत दिखाई दे रहा है.
Quote 31: The one who sees inaction in action, and action in inaction, is a wise person.
In Hindi: जो कार्य में निष्क्रियता और निष्क्रियता में कार्य देखता है वह एक बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति है.
Quote 32: I am the sweet fragrance in the earth. I am the heat in the fire, the life in all living beings, and the austerity in the ascetics.
In Hindi: मैं धरती की मधुर सुगंध हूँ . मैं अग्नि की ऊष्मा हूँ, सभी जीवित प्राणियों का जीवन और सन्यासियों का आत्मसंयम हूँ.
Quote 33: You grieve for those who are not worthy of grief, and yet speak the words of wisdom. The wise grieve neither for the living nor for the dead.
In Hindi: तुम उसके लिए शोक करते हो जो शोक करने के योग्य नहीं हैं, और फिर भी ज्ञान की बाते करते हो.बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति ना जीवित और ना ही मृत व्यक्ति के लिए शोक करते हैं.
Quote 34: There was never a time when I, you, or these kings did not exist; nor shall we ever cease to exist in the future.
In Hindi: कभी ऐसा समय नहीं था जब मैं , तुम ,या ये राजा-महाराजा अस्तित्व में नहीं थे, ना ही भविष्य में कभी ऐसा होगा कि हमारा अस्तित्व समाप्त हो जाये.
Quote 35: Works do not bind Me, because I have no desire for the fruits of work.
In Hindi: कर्म मुझे बांधता नहीं, क्योंकि मुझे कर्म के प्रतिफल की कोई इच्छा नहीं.
Quote 36: Both you and I have taken many births. I remember them all, O Arjuna, but you do not remember.
In Hindi: हे अर्जुन ! हम दोनों ने कई जन्म लिए हैं. मुझे याद हैं , लेकिन तुम्हे नहीं.
Quote 37: The one who truly understands My transcendental birth and activities, is not born again after leaving this body and attains My abode.”
In Hindi: वह जो वास्तविकता में मेरे उत्कृष्ट जन्म और गतिविधियों को समझता है, वह शरीर त्यागने के बाद पुनः जन्म नहीं लेता और मेरे धाम को प्राप्त होता है.
Quote 38: To those ever steadfast devotees, who always remember or worship Me with single-minded contemplation, I personally take responsibility for their welfare.”
In Hindi: अपने परम भक्तों, जो हमेशा मेरा स्मरण या एक-चित्त मन से मेरा पूजन करते हैं , मैं व्यक्तिगत रूप से उनके कल्याण का उत्तरदायित्व लेता हूँ.
Quote 39: Karma-yoga is a supreme secret indeed.
In Hindi: कर्म योग वास्तव में एक परम रहस्य है.
Quote 40: Karma does not bind one who has renounced work.
In Hindi: कर्म उसे नहीं बांधता जिसने काम का त्याग कर दिया है.
Quote 41: The wise should work without attachment, for the welfare of the society.
In Hindi: बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति को समाज कल्याण के लिए बिना आसक्ति के काम करना चाहिए.
Quote42: For those who wish to climb the mountain of spiritual awareness, the path is selfless work. For those who have attained the summit of union with the Lord, the path is stillness and peace.
In Hindi: जो व्यक्ति आध्यात्मिक जागरूकता के शिखर तक पहुँच चुके हैं , उनका मार्ग है निःस्वार्थ कर्म . जो भगवान् के साथ संयोजित हो चुके हैं उनका मार्ग है स्थिरता और शांति.
Quote43: Though I am the author of this system, one should know that I do nothing and I am eternal.
In Hindi: यद्द्यापी मैं इस तंत्र का रचयिता हूँ , लेकिन सभी को यह ज्ञात होना चाहिए कि मैं कुछ नहीं करता और मैं अनंत हूँ .
Quote44: They all attain perfection When they find joy in their work.
In Hindi: जब वे अपने कार्य में आनंद खोज लेते हैं तब वे पूर्णता प्राप्त करते हैं.
Quote45: One who abandons all desires and becomes free from longing and the feeling of ‘I’ and ‘my’ attains peace.
In Hindi: वह जो सभी इच्छाएं त्याग देता है और “मैं ” और “मेरा ” की लालसा और भावना से मुक्त हो जाता है उसे शांती प्राप्त होती है .
Quote46: There is no one hateful or dear to Me. But, those who worship Me with devotion, they are with Me and I am also with them.
In Hindi: मेरे लिए ना कोई घृणित है ना प्रिय .किन्तु जो व्यक्ति भक्ति के साथ मेरी पूजा करते हैं , वो मेरे साथ हैं और मैं भी उनके साथ हूँ .
Quote47: Those who long for success in their work here [on the earth] worship the demigods.
In Hindi: जो इस लोक में अपने काम की सफलता की कामना रखते हैं वे देवताओं का पूजन करें .
Quote48: I give heat, I send as well as withhold the rain, I am immortality as well as death.
In Hindi: मैं ऊष्मा देता हूँ , मैं वर्षा करता हूँ और रोकता भी हूँ , मैं अमरत्व भी हूँ और मृत्यु भी .
Quote49: The evil doers, the ignorant, the lowest persons who are attached to demonic nature, and whose intellect has been taken away by Maya do not worship or seek Me.
In Hindi: बुरे कर्म करने वाले , सबसे नीच व्यक्ति जो राक्षसी प्रवित्तियों से जुड़े हुए हैं , और जिनकी बुद्धि माया ने हर ली है वो मेरी पूजा या मुझे पाने का प्रयास नहीं करते .
Quote50: Whosoever desires to worship whatever deity with faith, I make their faith steady in that very deity.
In Hindi: जो कोई भी जिस किसी भी देवता की पूजा विश्वास के साथ करने की इच्छा रखता है , मैं उसका विश्वास उसी देवता में दृढ कर देता हूँ .
Quote51: I know, O Arjuna, the beings of the past, of the present, and those of the future, but no one really knows Me.
In Hindi: हे अर्जुन !, मैं भूत , वर्तमान और भविष्य के सभी प्राणियों को जानता हूँ , किन्तु वास्तविकता में कोई मुझे नहीं जानता .
Quote 52: The unsuccessful yogi is reborn, after attaining heaven and living there for many years, in the house of the pure and prosperous.
In Hindi: स्वर्ग प्राप्त करने और वहां कई वर्षों तक वास करने के पश्चात एक असफल योगी का पुन: एक पवित्र और समृद्ध कुटुंब में जन्म होता है .
Quote 53: The mind alone is one’s friend as well as one’s enemy.
In Hindi: केवल मन ही किसी का मित्र और शत्रु होता है .
Quote 54: I am seated in the hearts of all beings.
In Hindi: मैं सभी प्राणियों के ह्रदय में विद्यमान हूँ .
Quote 55: There is nothing, animate or inanimate, that can exist without Me.
In Hindi: ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं , चेतन या अचेतन , जो मेरे बिना अस्तित्व में रह सकता हो .
Quote 56: The One who leaves the body, at the hour of death, remembering Me attains My abode. There is no doubt about this.
In Hindi: वह जो मृत्यु के समय मुझे स्मरण करते हुए अपना शरीर त्यागता है, वह मेरे धाम को प्राप्त होता है . इसमें कोई शंशय नहीं है .
Quote 57: Those who have no faith in this knowledge follow the cycle of birth and death without attaining Me.
In Hindi: वह जो इस ज्ञान में विश्वास नहीं रखते , मुझे प्राप्त किये बिना जन्म और मृत्यु के चक्र का अनुगमन करते हैं .
